Thôn Chi village community tourism

Located 125 km south-east of Lao Cai , and 90 km southwest of Ha Giang , in a landscape of houses on pilotis in Tay tradition , surrounded by rice fields and sugar loaves , Thôn Chi is considered  an ideal stopover for travelers wanting to access from Sapa to the north-east highlands. Thôn Chi is in a community tourism project supported by the local authorities in rural distirct Quang Binh , Ha Giang province , where Mosaiquetour acts as a consultant, in order to :
* Improve the lives of its inhabitants,
* Form a cultural exchange between the West and the eastern portion in this remote corner ,
* Revive their cultural heritage such as dances and traditional music , crafts that are unfortunately endangered Most of the villagers involved in the project by various tourist activities such as hosting services , culinary preparations, dance and traditional music Tay, team bike for excursions to the wild landscapes of the region or simply by the warm welcome and hello to visitors who walk through their village By a tremendous effort against their habit of life and community will, its people trying to turn their village into a eco – village.
